Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah: Inter and Como reach pact ahead of move
Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah: Inter and Como reach pact ahead of move Serie A sides Inter and Como have been competing to sign Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah in the last few weeks. The two clubs now have a pact about a possible deal. La Gazzetta dello Sport present some details about the matter, making it clear that Inter’s Beppe Marotta and Como’s Mirwan Suwarso had a telephonic conversation about the deal and it turned out to be quite productive too. The clubs want to avoid tensions in the move for Chalobah. Como have already had an offer rejected and soon, Inter also joined the race. Suwarso informed Marotta that the lakeside club do not want to enter an auction for the Englishman. He also clarified that if Inter make a formal move, Como would happily back out and seek other options in the market. Inter though, are fully focused on signing Anan Khalaili and made a renewed offer for him too. That is why a move for Chalobah has been put on hold, even if they do have an agreement over personal terms with the Chelsea player. Mature path being taken This is a clear sign that both clubs have an excellent relationship and they do not want to harm that whatsoever. There is an understanding that they do not want to overpay for the player either, which is rare maturity in the market these days. It would hamper Chelsea’s hope of earning as much as possible, especially as they are keen on Maxence Lacroix. Kaustubh Pandey – GIFN
