The former Juventus man had reportedly expressed an interest in signing Atta during his time in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur as well. Atta comes with a significant €40m valuation, however, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina have agreed to let Udinese keep a hefty 30% sell-on clause in order to reduce the initial transfer fee that they will have to pay. There are still some conflicting reports on the exact amount that Fiorentina will pay, as Di Marzio claims that it is an initial fee of €25m, while other outlets cite a figure closer to €30m. He is expected to have his medical with Fiorentina on Thursday.
