Lens look to PSV’s Armando Obispo in search for Malang Sarr replacement At the end of June, it was announced that Malang Sarr would leave RC Lens on a free transfer, two years after joining as a free agent. Last season in particular, he was a key part of  Les Sang et Or’s  defence as he helped guide the club to a second-place finish in Ligue 1, as well as a Coupe de France triumph. His exit is a blow. However, the club are looking to quickly source a replacement. As per a report from  Foot Mercato ,  their priority target has been identified: Armando Obispo (27). The left-footed centre-back currently plays his club football for PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie, and recently competed in the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Curacao. Lens, the publication adds, have already made concrete steps to obtain Obispo’s signature by reaching out to the relevant parties. The defender’s current deal at PSV is up at the end of next season.
