Genoa strike deal to sign Marseille’s Hamed Traoré Hamed Traoré is set to complete a move to Serie A side Genoa, according to a report from Foot Mercato . Traoré joined OM from AFC Bournemouth last summer on a loan deal that included an obligation to make the move permanent, in the event that certain conditions were met. Traoré has indeed made the move to the Vélodrome permanent for a reported fee of €7.5m. However, his stay may be a short one. He endured a tough season at Marseille. It was a campaign blighted by injuries, which limited him to just 19 games for Les Phocéens in all competitions. In that time, he scored three goals and registered two assists. Having already played for Napoli, Sassuolo, and Empoli, and he is now set for a fresh stint in Italy, this time at Genoa.
