Bromley sign former Wycombe goalkeeper George

George has had spells with Colchester United, Livingston, Wycombe and St Mirren [Getty Images] Bromley have signed goalkeeper Shamal George on a free transfer following his departure from fellow League One side Wycombe Wanderers. The 28-year-old began his career at Liverpool and had loan spells with Carlisle United, Tranmere Rovers and Marine before joining Colchester United in 2020. He spent two seasons with the Essex side before signing for Scottish Premiership side Livingston, where he made 80 appearances. George signed for Wycombe Wanderers in 2024, but made just five appearances, and spent last season on loan at St Mirren, helping them win the Scottish League Cup. He becomes the Ravens' second signing in 24 hours following the arrival of midfielder Kamil Conteh from Bristol Rovers . Listen to Bromley content on BBC Sounds
