Bristol City sign London City Lionesses forward Lindström Bristol City have completed the signing of London City Lionesses forward Lotta Lindström on a permanent deal. The Robins announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club X account earlier today. The 21-year-old Finnish international is said to have signed a multi-year deal at Ashton Gate. Lindström joined London City Lionesses in the January 2024 transfer window from Finnish club HJK. Since joining the club, the forward has endured a challenging time. She made a bright start as she ended the 2023/2024 campaign by scoring three goals in six games. Lindström was thenset for a big season in 2024/2025 but she was sidelined for months after sustaining an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. The player returned to fitness last term and she was able to add eight appearances to her tally for The Pride. With Lindström in need of regular football, she headed out on loan to Birmingham City in the second half of last season. The player netted three goals in 10 outings in Barclays WSL2 as Blues secured the league title and promotion back to the Barclays Women’s Super League. Lindström claimed her first hat-trick in English football as Birmingham City defeated Nottingham Forest 5-1 in February. Lindström joins a Bristol City side who are aiming for promotion themselves in Barclays WSL2 this season.
