Vagana signs new five-year deal at Wakefield
Wakefield Trinity back-rower Isaiah Vagana has signed a new five-year contract with the Super League club. The 26-year-old joined Wakefield from New Zealand Warriors for the 2024 season and helped them win promotion from the Championship. He has since made 38 appearances in Super League and Challenge Cup, including 16 so far this season. Vagana told the club website: "As a team we're continually getting better and I want to be a part of the team that wins competitions with Wakefield Trinity." Wakefield head coach Daryl Powell added: "Isaiah came into the club as a pretty raw player and he's been outstanding for us this year especially and this feels like a re-signing that is big for the club."
