The 26-year-old becomes new head coach Cesar Peixoto's first signing, and is the third player to join Wanderers in this transfer window following Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez . Said scored eight times and provided five assists in 37 appearances in his one season in the Belgian top flight. The Comoros international made his senior debut with French club Brest in September 2021 and had spells with Nimes and Troyes before moving to Belgium last summer. Said has scored eight goals in 21 international appearances, and played every minute of Comoros' Africa Cup of Nations campaign last December. "He's a fast player and one-versus-one running is a very important characteristic for us, so he's one player more to help us build a big family and team to fight," Peixoto told the club website. "He's a strong guy, quick and athletic. He has the capacity, quality and mentality to adapt and help the team to improve, to win games and do things in the right way."
