Update On The Future Of This Sunderland Midfielder: Good Move For The Black Cats?
Update On The Future Of This Sunderland Midfielder: Good Move For The Black Cats? In a recent report , journalist Graeme Bailey offered an update on the future of Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki. It has been mentioned that the Black Cats have no intention of letting the Congolese talent leave in this summer transfer window. Sadiki’s Impressive Form In English Football Sadiki enjoyed a solid campaign at the Wearside club recently as he was responsible for putting in a run of impressive performances for them in the middle of the park. The Congolese talent featured in 35 matches for Sunderland last season, picking up one assist across all fronts. The 21-year-old is currently among the best young midfielders in the Premier League. Hence, the Black Cats would do well to retain his services beyond this summer. His current contract at the Stadium of Light will expire in the summer of 2030. Thus, Sunderland are under no immediate pressure to cash in on him this off-season. Sadiki loves a tackle and can read the danger well to earn possession back for his team at the centre of the park. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive and is an accurate passer of the ball as well. The Congolese talent can even create the odd chance for others around him in the final third and is full of energy and running in the middle of the park. Sadiki is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as a holding midfielder if told to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and remains one of the most important members of Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris’ squad. Therefore, it would be a good move for Le Bris to retain Sadiki’s services as he looks to build a strong squad for the upcoming Premier League campaign. At 21, the future looks quite bright for Sadiki as long as he continues to improve with each season. Thus, the Black Cats would be wise to retain his services for the long run as he could go on to become a future star for them at the Stadium of Light.
