Full list of Barcelona academy talents training with the first team during pre-season this summer The wait is finally over as Barcelona pre-season officially gets underway ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with Hansi Flick welcoming his players back to the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.  While several first-team stars remain away following international duty at the World Cup, the opening week of preparations offers a valuable opportunity for some of La Masia’s biggest talents to impress the German coach. The players reporting on the first day will complete routine medical examinations before training officially begins on Tuesday.  Flick has planned an intense opening week, alternating between single and double training sessions as Barcelona start building towards another demanding season. The club is yet to publish its complete training squad as several transfer situations remain unresolved, while other players are still on holiday following their international commitments. According to Mundo Deportivo , Hansi Flick has also selected a strong group of academy players to train with the senior squad.  Among the goalkeepers, Iker Rodriguez and Eder Aller will work alongside Barcelona’s senior shot-stoppers during pre-season. Creative midfielder Tommy Marques has also been included after earning praise for his ability to operate between the lines, while highly-rated left-back Jofre Torrents continues to strengthen his reputation as one of the coaching staff’s favourite youngsters. On the wings, Toni Fernandez returns to first-team training after previously working under Flick, while Ibrahim Diarra will be hoping to put his injury problems behind. Midfielder Ebrima Tunkara is another exciting name to watch after emerging as one of the academy’s most promising players in recent months. The defensive unit also includes left-footed centre-back Alvaro Cortés, who has already made his first-team debut under Flick. Completing the academy contingent is Shane Kluivert, whose pace, dribbling ability and confidence in one-on-one situations have made him one of the most exciting attacking prospects coming through the Barcelona youth ranks.
