Speaking to AS , Cubarsi acknowledged Mbappe’s quality while making it clear that Spain’s defenders are preparing to deal with every threat France possess rather than focusing on one individual. The Barcelona centre-back admitted that stopping Mbappe is never straightforward but insisted Spain must remain composed throughout the match. “He doesn’t scare us, but everyone knows what he’s capable of. Even if he’s not fully in the game, he can turn it around in the blink of an eye.  “He’s one of a kind, just like Lamine. We’ve got to stay alert for the full 90 minutes,” he admitted. Having previously trained alongside the winger during his time at Barcelona, the youngster knows exactly how unpredictable Dembele can be. “I trained with him on a few occasions. You have to be on your guard because, as he’s two-footed, he can come at you from either side.” France’s attacking depth means Spain’s defence will have to remain disciplined from the opening whistle, with both Mbappe and Dembele capable of exploiting the smallest defensive mistake.
