Official | Allan Saint-Maximin completes Charlotte FC move After six successful months, Allan Saint-Maximin’s (29) departure from RC Lens was confirmed at the end of last month. He has now joined MLS side Charlotte FC on a free transfer, it was confirmed on Monday. Having joined Lens last February following the termination of his contract with Mexican side Club America, Saint-Maximin produced an outstanding second half of the season, scoring four goals and providing three assists in 13 appearances for  Les Sang et Or . Saint-Maximin signs three-year deal His spell with the northern club also saw him win the first title of his career, the Coupe de France. However, he did not extend at the Stade Bollaert, instead leaving on a free transfer following the expiry of his short-term deal. The former Newcastle United winger will now return to North America, where he will play for Charlotte FC. The Frenchman has signed a three-year Designated Player contract with the US side.
