Done Deal: Ravaglia set for Watford loan with potential obligation to buy According to Sky Sport Italia , Watford have agreed a deal with Bologna for goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia, on loan with an option to buy that could become an obligation. The details of the arrangement are that this is a one-season loan with an option to buy at the end of the term. However, the condition to activate the obligation and make it permanent would be Watford earning promotion into the Premier League. There is a very Italian feel developing at Watford, because their coach is Alessio Dionisi, and they had already brought in Edoardo Bove as a free agent last term. The 26-year-old came up through the Bologna youth academy, going on a series of loans to Sudtirol, Gubbio, Frosinone and Reggina, until returning to the Stadio Dall’Ara in 2023. Last season, the goalkeeper made 25 competitive appearances between Serie A, the Europa League, Supercoppa Italiana and Coppa Italia. He kept two clean sheets and conceded 45 goals.
