Report Ramsdale now top of Torino list from Southampton Torino, who have something of a history with English goalkeepers thanks to Joe Hart, are reportedly pushing to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton. The Granata are seeking a shot-stopper after deciding Franco Israel was not suited to Serie A football, one year on from his Sporting CP transfer. Although they had also targeted Paraguay international goalkeeper Orlando Gill , his performances at the 2026 World Cup pushed the price up too much. He spent last season on loan at Newcastle United, and before that played for Arsenal, Sheffield United, Bournemouth and Wimbledon. The 28-year-old earned five senior caps for England, and he would be the second English goalkeeper at Torino after Joe Hart in 2016-17. Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset are confident that Ramsdale can be in Serie A this season for the Granata, on loan with an option to buy, as his contract with the Saints runs to June 2028.
