Dagnall's season for Saints over with ACL injury
Owen Dagnall ruptured his ACL in St Helens' 46-0 home defeat by Toulouse [SWpix.com] Owen Dagnall will miss the rest of the season for St Helens as he needs surgery on an ACL injury. Dagnall, 20, hurt his knee in the second half of Sunday's Super League home defeat by Toulouse and scans have revealed he suffered a rupture. The outside back is expected to return in 2027. Dagnall has made 17 appearances this season for Saints, and 29 in total. "I'm absolutely gutted about the news, but I'm going to do everything I can to get back as soon as possible," Dagnall told the club website. "I want to just say a quick thank you to the fans, who have sent me get well messages. I really appreciate it."
