Free agents Hysaj and Juan Jesus receive offers for Serie A stay There are some free agents eager to remain in Serie A for new clubs, as Lecce have made an offer to ex-Lazio defender Elseid Hysaj, while Juan Jesus could join Venezia from Napoli. The contracts expired on June 30 and now quite a few players are waiting to see where they will be involved in pre-season training. Sky Sport Italia report that the 32-year-old has received a formal proposal to join Lecce, but has not yet made a decision, which should be expected over the next 24 hours. As for Juan Jesus, his contract was not renewed at Napoli, but he has been linked with newly promoted Venezia for a new Serie A adventure. The Brazilian centre-back just turned 35 last month and is not ready to hang up his boots, nor leave Italy, where he has been since 2012 for Inter, Roma and Napoli.
