It is not a very serious issue, but still enough to keep the Brazilian out of action for several weeks while Roma staff evaluate the development of his recovery. The 19-year-old was purchased from Olympique Marseille in the January transfer window at a cost of €22m plus add-ons. Vaz made 14 competitive appearances in the Giallorossi jersey, contributing one goal and two assists.
