In all six games that Spain won, Lamine Yamal was on the field from the very first minute. The only game they drew was against Cape Verde in the curtain-raiser – a game in which Yamal was benched at the start of the game owing to his fitness concerns. Heading into the finale , it is clear that the teenage sensation will again be crucial for his team on the right wing. He is their marquee player, and while he may not have the goals and assists to show, his mere presence on the field is a massive boost to the attack.
