Son of ex-Wales international signs Swansea deal

[Getty Images] Swansea City's Milo Robinson is closer to following in the footsteps of his father after signing his first professional contract. The midfielder is the son of former Wales international Carl Robinson, who earned 52 caps for his country between 1999 and 2009. The 18-year-old has already represented Wales at youth level, most recently being capped at under-19s level, and has signed terms through to 2028. Born in Brecon, Robinson joined Swansea in the summer of 2024 having spent most of his youth career in the United States, Canada and Australia, where his father played for and managed various clubs. "It's a proud moment for me and my family, I'm buzzing to have signed my first professional contract," he said. "This is something I've been working towards since I joined a few years ago, and I'm glad that hard work has paid off and I've earned two more years here. "I want to get more experience in and around the first team environment. I know the gaffer is great at giving the younger players a chance and I'd love to be up there."
