Mourinho and Florentino Perez in agreement over the next three signings for Real Madrid – report Real Madrid’s summer rebuild is not over yet. Despite already reinforcing Jose Mourinho’s squad with four high-profile arrivals, the club is still planning further business before the transfer window closes.  In fact, according to Defensa Central , citing journalist Tomas Gonzalez-Martin, Mourinho has asked for another centre-back and remains keen to add greater creativity in midfield, while club president Florentino Perez continues to keep alive his long-standing ambition of signing Michael Olise. The report suggests Madrid are preparing for another active few weeks, although any major additions are expected to depend on departures from the current squad. Mourinho wants to strengthen key areas Real Madrid have already addressed several positions this summer with the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries and Bernardo Silva, but Mourinho believes the squad still requires further adjustments. (Photo courtesy: Real Madrid official website) After assessing the options available, the Portuguese manager is understood to favour Alessandro Bastoni as the profile capable of completing his back line.  Real Madrid had also tracked Nico Schlotterbeck, but his World Cup injury has effectively ended that possibility for now .  Furthermore, Mourinho is also thought to be open to another midfield addition.  While Bernardo Silva’s arrival was viewed as an opportunity too good to ignore, the manager believes another playmaker could further improve the balance of his team if circumstances allow before the deadline. Whether that happens is likely to depend on outgoing transfers, with Madrid expected to reassess their options if space is created within the squad. According to the report, Michael Olise remains the Real Madrid president’s preferred marquee signing despite the complexity of any potential deal. The Bayern Munich winger is expected to hold talks with the German club after the FIFA World Cup to discuss his future and those conversations are viewed as an important step before Madrid decide whether a move is realistic. Should Olise indicate he is open to leaving, Perez is reportedly prepared to launch an offer worth around €200 million. For now, however, the situation remains dependent on the outcome of the player’s discussions with Bayern.
