Official: Coppola joins Paris FC from Brighton for €20m Diego Coppola has completed a permanent move to Paris FC, with the Italy defender leaving Brighton in a deal worth €18 million plus €2 million in bonuses. According to the French club’s official announcement , the former Hellas Verona centre-back has signed a contract running to 2031, reported to be worth around €1.5 million net per season, after impressing during a six-month loan in the French capital, where he made 14 appearances across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. Brighton paid Verona €12 million only a year ago , meaning the Seagulls bank a healthy profit on a player who featured sparingly in England. Paris FC Sporting director Marco Neppe hailed the signing. “It’s a great source of pride, with this permanent transfer, to make Diego a true Paris FC player,” he said. “Rare are the players who combine all his qualities, as a footballer and as a man.
