Bristol City re-sign Aspin from Chelsea

Brooke Aspin was re-sent out on loan to Bristol City for 2023-24 after signing for Chelsea [Shutterstock] Bristol City have re-signed central defender Brooke Aspin from Chelsea on a permanent deal. The 21-year-old, who has represented England at Under-23 level, left Chelsea three seasons ago when the Robins were left frustrated that they did not receive compensation. After representing England at the Under-19 European Championships, Aspin was sent out on loan to Crystal Palace before rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in November 2024. Despite spending three years at the club, Aspin leaves Chelsea without making a senior appearance in the WSL.
