SWPL: Glasgow City secure double signing of Jesi Rossman and Kelly Brady

SWPL: Glasgow City secure double signing of Jesi Rossman and Kelly Brady Glasgow City have announced the double signing of centre-back Jesi Rossman and forward Kelly Brady. Rossman joins Glasgow City from Portuguese side SCU Torreense, where she recently helped them secure the Portuguese Super Cup. The centre-back played a pivotal role in a memorable victory over Benfica. She assisted the opening goal and scored the match-winner in Player of the Match performance. Also arriving at the club is Brady, who joins from newly promoted Women’s Super League side Crystal Palace. The defender, born in the USA, has represented Ireland on the international stage. Rossman commenced her professional career with Athlone Town in August 2023. Over a successful season-and-a-half, she scored the decisive penalty in the FAI Cup final and played a key role in Athlone securing their historic first league title in 2024. Her standout performances also earned her a place in the League’s Best XI at the end-of-season awards. Brady also enjoyed a prolific season with Athlone Town, finishing as the club’s top scorer in the 2025 League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division with 26 goals across all competitions. She capped off a remarkable campaign with a hat-trick in the FAI Cup Final to help Athlone secure the trophy. Brady earned the Women’s Personality of the Year honour at the Soccer Writers Ireland Awards as a result of her stellar efforts. Brady’s impressive breakthrough campaign earned her a call up to the Republic of Ireland squad in November 2025. On signing for Glasgow City Rossman said: “I’m so excited to sign with Glasgow City. It’s an incredible club with amazing history and I can’t wait to get started.” Brady echoed: “I’m thrilled to join Glasgow City.
