Exeter City sign former Shrews midfielder Perry

Perry has played over 180 EFL league games for Shrewsbury Town and Cheltenham Town [Getty Images] Exeter City have signed midfielder Taylor Perry following his departure from fellow League Two side Shrewsbury Town. The 25-year-old Wolverhampton Wanderers academy graduate has made over 180 appearances in EFL League One and Two, and becomes the Grecians' third signing of the summer. He spent two loan spells at League One Cheltenham Town between 2021 and 2023 before leaving Molineux and signing for Shrewsbury. Perry played for the Shrews in both League One and Two, helping keep them in the Football league in 2025-2026. Exeter City manager Matt Taylor told the club website : "Taylor is a capable box-to-box midfielder who is as equally skilled at attacking as he is defending.
