World Cup earnings revealed: Milan best in Serie A, Man City first overall Milan were Serie A’s biggest earners from the World Cup, with the Rossoneri also breaking into the top 10 clubs worldwide. FIFA grants approximately €215m through the Club Benefits Programme, to be shared among the sides whose players were involved in the World Cup. Serie A clubs will get circa €13m. The sum for each club depends on the number of players called up and how far they progressed in the tournament. The gap between Serie A, Premier League and La Liga is substantial, as English clubs will get circa €40m, while Spanish clubs will earn €18m. Milan will earn almost €2m thanks to their ten players at the World Cup, who combined for 456 days in the competition. France stars Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot accounted for €240,000 each for the Rossoneri.
