Rodri: Man City's World Cup finalist

Rodri came into the tournament off the back a difficult domestic season with City as he returned from the ACL injury suffered in the previous campaign. He faced several setbacks over the course of the season and failed to recapture his highest form. But very few can argue against Rodri's performances at the 2026 World Cup. Going into the final, he has completed the most passes by any player at a World Cup on record, with 655.
