Official | Troyes sign Australia international Patrick Beach ESTAC Troyes have completed the signing of Patrick Beach (22) from Melbourne City. The goalkeeper starred for the Australia national team at the recent FIFA World Cup.  Beach has joined Troyes for an undisclosed fee, signing a five-year deal with the Ligue 1 club. The goalkeeper was Australia’s No.1 at the World Cup. He was surprisingly chosen over veteran goalkeeper and captain Matt Ryan at the tournament and impressed in North America, especially during a 2-0 win over Turkiye, during which he made an impressive eight saves.  Beach (six caps) won the A-League title with Melbourne City during his first season as their No.1 in 2024-25. He only made his national team debut back in November and has now earned a move to Europe. The move was facilitated by the links tying Troyes and Melbourne City, with both clubs part of the City Group. L’ESTAC  will play in Ligue 1 next season following last season’s promotion.
