Brighton keeper Marshall Miranda signs first professional deal Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Silvana Marshall Miranda has signed her first professional contract with the club. WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this morning. The 17-year-old stopper joined Brighton & Hove Albion back in 2019 and she has impressed in the club’s Professional Game Academy side. Marshall Miranda is yet to make her senior debut for Brighton & Hove Albion but she was invited to train with the first team at times last season. On the international stage, Marshall Miranda has represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 levels. The youngster is a real prospect and Brighton & Hove Albion have quickly agreed professional terms with the player. After seeing Marshall Miranda pen professional terms with Brighton & Hove Albion, the club’s under-19 head coach Dani Bowman said “We’re pleased that Silvana has signed her first professional contract with the club. “She’s a young goalkeeper who has established herself as a key player within the under-19s. She’s been at the club for a long time and understands what it means to represent the badge.” Marshall Miranda will now continue her development at Brighton & Hove Albion with a view of pushing for first team honours in the future.
