Tavares signs Barnet contract extension
[Shutterstock] Nik Tavares has signed a contract extension with Barnet that will keep him at the League Two outfit until the summer of 2028. The South Africa-born 27-year-old has become a mainstay in Dean Brennan's side, making 37 appearances last season as Barnet narrowly missed out on reaching the play-offs. Having initially joined the club in the summer of 2024, this is the second contract extension Tavares has signed. "The club's been a perfect fit for me," Tavares told the club website . Brennan added: "Tavs' deal shows the progression of the football club and how we value our top players."
