Inter’s hand may be forced There are two factors at play that could convince Inter to sell Bastoni this summer. They have been steadfast about not wanting to let him leave, but every player has a price, especially if someone were to present an offer too good to refuse; if there’s one part of the footballing world currently capable to making such offers, it’s Saudi Arabia. Moreover, if circumstances over Bastoni’s investigation took a turn for the worse, then regardless of the charges Inter may end up needing to move him on as a reputational move more than a footballing one.
