Real Madrid reconsider signing Manchester City’s Rodri after FIFA World Cup victory Rodri won the FIFA World Cup after captaining Spain to a 1-0 win over Argentina in New York. The 2024 Ballon d’Or winner was also named FIFA World Cup Player of the Tournament. Real Madrid went quiet in pursuit of the City midfielder but are now considering signing the 30-year-old. Real Madrid are said to be internally reconsidering the signing of Manchester City star Rodri following a remarkable 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
