After all, Neto is perhaps ideally placed to be Salah's successor. While it was certainly the weakest of Salah's seasons, signing Neto would at least mean the Reds don't move further backwards - and that is a concern with the lack of transfer movement right now. There's no question, though, that there's a deal to be done. There's also no question that Liverpool need a new winger and someone in Neto's age bracket would be ideal. So we think there's reason to watch this one. The Rogers deal has paved the way and the Reds may very well take advantage.
