Birmingham sell forward Furuhashi to LA Galaxy
Kyogo Furuhashi scored 85 goals in 165 appearances for Celtic between 2021 and 2025 [Getty Images] Birmingham City have sold forward Kyogo Furuhashi to LA Galaxy for an undisclosed fee. The 31-year-old Japan international joined the Blues from Ligue 1 club Rennes last summer, signing a three-year deal. He made 31 appearances in all competitions in 2025-26, scoring three goals, as Chris Davies' side finished 10th in the Championship. Furuhashi scored 85 goals in 165 appearances for Celtic between 2021 and 2025 and was the Scottish Premiership's leading scorer in the 2022-23 season with 27 goals.
