The 26-year-old midfielder joined the Hornets from Manchester City in 2019 and played 81 times, scoring eight goals. After featuring twice for Watford at the start of last season, he spent the rest of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Genclerbirligi. Dele-Bashiru played for England Under-16s but has since opted to switch his international allegiance to Nigeria, representing them at under-20 and under-23 levels.
