Official | Muhammed Damar joins VfL Wolfsburg Wolfsburg have secured the services of attacking midfielder Muhammed Damar from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim. The 2. Bundesliga side announced that the 22-year-old has signed a contract until 2031 after both clubs agreed on a reported €6m fee. In addition to playing as an attacking midfielder, Damar can also play in central midfield and as a left winger. He has made 21 league appearances for Hoffenheim. He has also played for Hannover and Elversberg on loan in the 2.Bundesliga, where he managed to show his qualities. Upon joining Wolfsburg, Damar has said: “The plan, the environment and the coaching staff convinced me that VfL is the right club for me. I can’t wait to get started.”  VfL sporting director Pirmin Schwegler added: “Muhammed was on the radar of a number of clubs because of his qualities. That makes us all the more pleased that he has chosen VfL Wolfsburg.  “He possesses outstanding game intelligence, moves extremely well between the lines and finds creative solutions even under pressure.
