Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Crystal Palace among the best new kits ahead of the 2026/27 season

Now that the 2026 World Cup is over, we are a month away from the domestic seasons getting underway in Europe. The Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga are among the leagues that will be resuming play as the end of summer approaches. Every summer also means new kit season , where clubs all over the world release their new jerseys for the upcoming season. Some of the designs released so far have been inspired by previous looks, friendships between cities and even the sport of baseball. Inter Milan away Inter Milan away Inter Milan's away kits this year are heavily influenced by the sport of baseball, as evidenced by the pinstripes. The club crest has been reimagined as a monogram with the "I" and "M" free from the circular crest. Crystal Palace home Crystal Palace home Crystal Palace's iconic slash, first introduced in 1976, is once again featured on the Premier League side's home kit. The badge has been given a retro feel with a circular crest that the club first used in 1973. AC Milan away AC Milan away The 2005 and 2007 Champions League finals against Liverpool are the inspiration for AC Milan's away kits. The white shirts for the Rossoneri display the motto: "After Istanbul, there's always Athens," a reference to their defeat in Turkey in 2005 and victory two years later in Greece. Torino and River Plate are twin clubs and are celebrating the 125th anniversary together this season. Roma home Roma home Roma's new home kit "celebrates the club's enduring identity through a clean and confident interpretation of its iconic colors," according to the club. Sporting home Sporting home Sporting CP are sticking with their classic green and white hoops for their 2026/27 home kit. There are specific details in the shirt that mark the team's 120th anniversary, including a gold 1960-2026 tag on the hem and the number 120 under the collar. Bayer Leverkusen home Bayer Leverkusen home It's back to the black-and-red stripes for Bayer Leverkusen's 2026/27 home kits. The Bundesliga side have also incorporated a cross pattern into the hem, "a reminder that Bayer 04 is more than just a club." Venezia home Venezia home The flags waved by Venezia supporters have inspired their new home kit. Featuring the colors of orange, black and green, the Italian side have once again delivered a unique jersey, a yearly tradition. Chelsea away Chelsea away Chelsea's away kits will allow them to "Unleash the Lion," the club says. The black shirt will feature gold detailing, a choice not seen on the Blues' kits since 2021/22. Real Madrid away Real Madrid away Real Madrid are going with a dark green away jersey for the 2026/27 season. The green is complemented by off-white details, including the club crest and logos. That's what Red Bull Salzburg have in store for this season. "The dynamic elements on the front reflect the movement of sound waves. Red, white and red details on the collar and sleeves complete the design," the club says. Girona third kit Girona third kit Turquoise green is the main color of Girona's new away kit, which is "inspired by the shades of the crystal-clear waters of the coves of the Costa Brava." This is all part of the "Green Hope" campaign the club is launching, noting that each new season brings fresh hope and a "new opportunity to grow."
