That tactic is said to be frustrating the winger’s advisors - who warn that PSG’s foot-dragging could open the door for other clubs Liverpool included. Diomande advisors put pressure on PSG “Several other clubs besides Liverpool have signaled their willingness to pay €100m, including Arsenal (following Leandro Trossard’s departure), Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain,” the report reads. “Diomande has already agreed personal terms with his preferred club PSG on a deal until 2031, but no official bid has been submitted yet. “It is understood that Diomande’s camp, now working with the powerful agency Roc Nation, is increasing pressure on PSG to make a clear commitment and accelerate talks with Leipzig—to avoid the risk of another club stepping in.” Leipzig want €120m (£102m) for Diomande It looks like Diomande will be on the move this summer and Leipzig will find it increasingly hard to keep hold of him through the window. They would settle for a deal worth around €120m per the report - a price that Richard Hughes got nowhere near in the opening exchanges. One deal that can be ruled out however is a sale and loan-back per BILD. “RB Leipzig are demanding at least €120m for Diomande,” the report reads. “However, there are growing doubts within the club that the winger can be kept for another season—even with the proposed loan-back arrangement, which PSG coach Luis Enrique is said to oppose.” There is then a slim chance that this deal can be revived as long as PSG hold their fire. Liverpool’s back-up plans for Diomande have come to nothing - with deals for Barcola, Said El Mala, Yankuba Minteh and Matias Fernandez-Pardo all seemingly at a standstill.
