Portsmouth sign Serbian striker Milovanovic

Marko Milovanovic is Portsmouth's fourth signing of the summer [Portsmouth FC] Portsmouth have completed the signing of Serbian striker Marko Milovanovic from Spanish side Almeria for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year-deal at Fratton Park for what will be his first venture into English football. He started his career at Serbian side Partizan Belgrade before moving to Almeria in 2022 where he played 35 times in total, scoring three goals. Milovanovic spent last season on loan at FC Alverca in Portugal's top tier where he scored 10 times in 32 appearances. "We are delighted to strengthen our attacking options with the signing of Marko," Pompey boss John Mousinho said. "He has the physical attributes required to compete in English football, but is also someone comfortable with the ball at his feet. "His goal return in Portugal last season was impressive and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do for Pompey as we try to build on our past two campaigns in the Championship."
