Roma’s bid for Nicolo Tresoldi rejected, €35 million offered
Roma’s bid for Nicolo Tresoldi rejected, €35 million offered Serie A side Roma are growing increasingly desperate for an attacking signing, having missed out on Crysencio Summerville. A move for Leipzig’s Antonio Nusa is also likely to prove difficult due to financial reasons, with Premier League interest in the Norwegian also having grown. Daniele Longo has now reported their approach for Club Brugge star Nicolo Tresoldi. They offered €35 million to the Belgian club but this has been rejected quickly. Club Brugge are not in the need for immediate funds as they just sold Christos Tzolis to Arsenal but Roma are likely to push further with approaches of their own. There is a chance a move for Tresoldi is likely to be unrelated to that of Nusa. The German-Italian is seen as an alternative to Donyell Malen, with Gian Piero Gasperini keen on signing a player of his ilk this summer. PL interest can dictate move Like Nusa, Tresoldi could also become someone who attracts English interest. Premier League sides have been linked with him and this is likely to raise the talent’s price, which will impact Roma’s move once again and potentially outprice them once again.
