Mourinho identifies five untouchables at Real Madrid for new season – report Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Real Madrid has naturally sparked questions about how the squad hierarchy will change.  While several players still have everything to prove during pre-season, a small group already appears to have secured their place at the heart of the Portuguese manager’s plans. As the new boss prepares for his second stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, early indications suggest he has already identified the players he believes can drive Real Madrid back to domestic and European success.  Those names are expected to form the backbone of his project as the club aims to return to winning major trophies. The journalist states that these five stars are considered guaranteed starters, with Mourinho believing they possess the quality, mentality and tactical profiles needed to lead Real Madrid into a new era. Bellingham, Mbappe and Guler set for key roles next season Among the players expected to enjoy significant responsibility is Jude Bellingham.  The England international is being lined up for an advanced midfield role, similar to the position he occupied during the FIFA Club World Cup, where his attacking influence was one of his biggest strengths. The Uruguayan’s energy, work rate and ability to control transitions continue to make him one of Real Madrid’s most dependable performers. Arda Guler has also earned Mourinho’s confidence after an impressive campaign on a personal level.  Furthermore, there is little surprise surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s inclusion. The French superstar remains Real Madrid’s biggest attacking weapon and will spearhead the club’s ambitions once again. The final member of Mourinho’s preferred core is Bernardo Silva.  Having completed his free move from Manchester City, the Portuguese playmaker is yet to link up with his new teammates, but Mourinho intends to rely heavily on his experience, intelligence and ability to perform in multiple positions.
