The forward registered 10 goals and seven assists in the Bundesliga last season, emerging as one of the division’s brightest young strikers after a steady rise through loan spells at Austria Vienna and Elversberg. Crucially, his €29 million release clause is not seen as an obstacle. Barcelona could complete the deal without needing to sell first, and would even look to negotiate a lower fee. Asllani would arrive primarily as a rotation option behind priority target Julian Alvarez, though his affordability means the club may not rule him out even if Ferran stays.
