Hakeem Abubakar , Elyon Mbala , Daniel McCarron , Emerson Nwaneri , Jayden Oba , Theo Odaji-Ukueko , Angelinou Pedro , Charlie Purdy , and Joshua Sesay have all put pen to paper on new terms to remain with the club ahead of the 2026/27 campaign. Daniel McCarron is a new summer signing , having joined from Northern Ireland Premiership side Dungannon Swift this month after agreeing to make the transfer in February. Then Emerson Nwaneri (younger brother of Ethan) was the subject of plenty of transfer speculation in recent months, but reports in the last couple of weeks confirmed that he’d agreed to sign both a scholarship contract and a first professional deal with Arsenal. Though there’s been no official confirmation of the professional pre-agreement, this intake post provides confirmation that Emerson has indeed signed scholarship terms. There are no goalkeepers on this occasion, but Arsenal have plenty of those at academy level at the moment, so the u18s won’t struggle. Jack Talbot and Remi Lupinski will be among the team’s options between the sticks. Congratulations to all of Arsenal’s new scholars on making the next step in their young careers!
