Sunderland close to complete €30m transfer of Toulouse left-back Dayann Methalie Sunderland are engaged in club-to-club talks with Ligue 1 side Toulouse over the transfer of France U21 international left-back Dayann Methalie (20), according to  RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins .  The Black Cats, who are set to compete in the UEFA Conference League next season, have already secured an agreement on personal terms with Methalie over a five-year contract. RMC Sport  understands that Methalie is valued at around €30m, which would make Methalie the biggest sale of Toulouse’s history. The 20-year-old is billed as one of the best French prospects in the left-back role, with a senior France bow expected in a few years with Lucas Digne and Théo Hernandez entering the twilight of their career. Club-to-club talks are said to be at an advanced stage between Toulouse and Sunderland. Aston Villa and Newcastle previously enquired about Methalie. GFFN | Bastien Cheval
