The development comes after Real Madrid submitted a sensational €150 million proposal for Alvarez, only for Atletico Madrid to reject the approach immediately .  While the move generated headlines across Spain, Barcelona’s hierarchy is understood to be calm about the situation and is focused on their own strategy.
