Swans reunited as duo return to training

[Getty Images] Swansea City have their full squad together for the first time since the end of last season after Cameron Burgess and Eom Jisung returned to the club's Fairwood training base. Australia international defender Burgess and South Korea winger Eom were given extra time off after featuring at this summer's World Cup. Marko Stamenic, who played for New Zealand at the tournament, joined up with Swansea during their pre-season camp in Austria last week alongside new signing and All Whites team-mate Elijah Just. Burgess was given extra time off because Australia reached the World Cup knockout stages, while Eom's extra rest is thought to be down to the fact that he faces a busy September as a result of the Asian Games. Swansea's final pre-season assignment is against Spanish second-tier side CG Leganes this coming Saturday, with head coach Vitor Matos waiting to see whether Zan Vipotnik will be able to play any part in that game. Last season's Championship top scorer sat out the Swans' three friendlies in Austria because of a quad injury. Goncalo Franco is a definite absentee after the midfielder underwent surgery on an ankle injury.
