West Brom sign French right-back Galves until 2030
Nolan Galves (left) is West Bromwich Albion's fifth signing of the summer window [Getty Images] West Bromwich Albion have signed French right-back Nolan Galves on a four-year contract from Ligue 2 side Rodez AF. The 23-year-old moves to The Hawthorns for an undisclosed fee and becomes the club's fifth senior summer signing following forward Jimmy-Jay Morgan, defender Conor Townsend, goalkeeper Matt Ingram and striker Barney Stewart. Galves helped Rodez reach the second-tier play-offs in France last season, where they lost on penalties to Saint-Etienne. He made 36 appearances in all competitions, with eight assists.
