Season predictions: Second place & lack of game-changing quality

[BBC] Where will you finish in the league and why? Unfortunately, I think we will finish second. The reason for that is, despite having a decent core of players, we always seem to fall short when it comes to the crunch. I hope I'm wrong but that's how I feel right now. Who is the best signing or has he not signed yet and who should it be? Lawrence Shankland is the obvious one but from the names we've been linked with I wouldn't mind if Vaclav Cerny or Jens Hjerto-Dahl arrived. What do you want from your manager this season? I want him to set the team up to be hard to beat but I also want him to avoid playing players out of position. Already in the friendly games we've seen Mohamed Diomande at right midfield and he did it a few times at Hearts last season. It's a pet hate of mine. Who will be the breakout star in your squad? Have to say Findlay Curtis because at the moment he's the only younger player who is close to the first team. What is your one major concern? My major concern is that we will not be able to move on players, which in turn will stop us signing game-changing quality. I'm not talking about Nico Raskin here. It's the others, those who just aren't good enough, are bloating the squad and need moved on.
