Real Madrid-bound midfielder prefers another season at current club – Romano Nico Paz’s expected return to Real Madrid is no longer as straightforward as it seemed just a few weeks ago.  Despite the club holding a €9 million buy-back option and working towards bringing him back to the Santiago Bernabeu, the young midfielder now prefers to spend another season at Como. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, as relayed by Madrid Xtra , Nico believes remaining in Italy would be the best step for his development.  While the Argentine remains deeply attached to Real Madrid and sees his long-term future at the club, he feels another year of regular football under Cesc Fabregas could accelerate his growth before making the jump back to Madrid. Given the situation at hand, it is obvious to imagine that the final call is expected to involve Jose Mourinho , who will have to determine whether Nico Paz should be integrated immediately into the first-team project or allowed to continue developing elsewhere. Regardless of the outcome, it must be remembered that Real Madrid remain in a strong position thanks to the favourable terms of the buy-back agreement.
