Real Madrid have six players in mind for summer exit
Real Madrid have six players in mind for summer exit The final few weeks of the summer transfer window will be very busy for Real Madrid, as they target incomings and departures. The latter is where there will be the most movement, with club bosses ready to let several first team players go. Until now, the only senior players to have left Real Madrid this summer is Dani Ceballos (contract terminated) and Fran Garcia (sold to Real Betis). Both were deemed surplus to requirements by new head coach Jose Mourinho, who has since decided that he does not intend to use more players during the 2026-27 season. According to Cadena SER , Real Madrid have identified as many as six players that can leave the club before the summer transfer window closes. Raul Asencio, Eduardo Camavinga and Franco Mastantuono (loan) can do so after being told by Mourinho that they are not in his plans for the upcoming campaign, while offers will also be considered for Ferland Mendy, Endrick (loan) and Gonzalo Garcia. Replacements would be needed in case of certain exits Real Madrid are working on deals for Yan Diomande and Rodri, but if they were to part ways with certain players, replacement would be sought. Mourinho wants Asencio to leave in order for a new centre-back to arrive, while he will also demand that another striker is signed if Gonzalo ends up being sold to Alvaro Arbeloa’s Fulham. The last two seasons showed that significant change was needed at Real Madrid if they were to set themselves up to overthrow Barcelona in La Liga and make a serious push for their 16th Champions League. The required signings have been made (and more look like happening too) but it is also important that players are moved on so that the first team squad is not inflated, as this could lead to dressing room tensions.
