Visca el Barça !” Stacked in the department now While the club indeed did not see Rashford’s permanent signing as the right plan moving ahead, Barcelona have done well to reinforce the left-wing which the Englishman provided cover in. The England international, in fact, overshadowed Rashford at the FIFA World Cup and proved himself to be a handful for opposition defences. Karim Adeyemi, meanwhile, arrives as a versatile option who can play on both wings. While he is expected to feature more on the right flank, he could very well chip in as an emergency left-winger based on the situation. The club’s decision not to pursue Rashford, thus, appears to be a good one in hindsight.
